# Delete an annotation

`DELETE /api/v1/annotations/{annotationH}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://numonic.ai`

Soft-delete an annotation (sets status to deleted, preserving audit trail).

## Path parameters

- `annotationH` string, required: Annotation hash (40-char hex SHA-1)

Annotation deleted
