# List snapshots of a link specification

`GET /link_specification/{id}/snapshots`

List the append-only snapshot history of a link specification, newest first. Snapshot ids are what package components pin as resource_revision_id.

## Path parameters

## Response `200`

The specification's snapshots.

- SpecificationSnapshotListResponse
  - `paging` Paging
    - `offset` integer: The offset of this page.
    - `limit` integer: The maximum number of results in this page.
  - `results` SpecificationSnapshot[]
    - `id` string, uuid, required: The snapshot id. This is the value a package component pins as `resource_revision_id`.
    - `specification_id` string, uuid, required: The specification this snapshot belongs to.
    - `sequence_number` integer, required: Per-specification counter; higher is newer.
    - `content_hash` string, required: SHA-256 of the specification's watched fields. Identical content never mints a second snapshot in a row.
    - `content` object, required: The specification as it was when this snapshot was minted.
    - `created_by` string, nullable: The user whose write minted the snapshot, or null.
    - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When the snapshot was minted.
    - `updated_at` string, date-time: Snapshots are immutable, so this matches `created_at`.

## Other responses

- `4XX`: Client error responses due to invalid input, missing parameters or insufficient permissions.
- `5XX`: Server error responses.
