# Close the notifications of a thread

`POST /communications/notification/close`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.nullplatform.com`
- URL: `https://api.nullplatform.com/communications/notification/close`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Closes every open notification in your organization that was created with this `group_key`. Use it when the situation a thread announced is over, for example once an incident is resolved.

## Request body

- object
  - `group_key` string, required: The `group_key` the notifications were created with.

## Response `200`

How many notifications were closed.

- object
  - `closed` integer: How many open notifications were closed.

## Other responses

- `4XX`: The request couldn't be processed. For example, a parameter is invalid, the resource doesn't exist, or you don't have permission. The body is a problem details object (RFC 9457).
- `5XX`: Something went wrong on nullplatform's side. The body is a problem details object (RFC 9457).
