# Delete Evaluation

`DELETE /api/v3/evaluations/{evaluation_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.nugen.in`
- URL: `https://api.nugen.in/api/v3/evaluations/{evaluation_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete an evaluation permanently.
This endpoint permanently removes an evaluation and all its associated data. 

**Path Parameters:**

- `evaluation_id`: Unique identifier of the evaluation to delete

**Returns:**

Success response containing:

- `id`: The deleted evaluation identifier
- `message`: Confirmation message

**Raises:**

- `404`: If evaluation not found or doesn't belong to the authenticated user

**Warning:**

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All evaluation results, metrics, and associated data will be permanently deleted.

## Response `200`

Evaluation successfully deleted

- EvaluationDeleteResponse: Confirmation of a permanent evaluation deletion.
  - `evaluation_id` string, required: Identifier of the deleted evaluation.
  - `message` string, required: Deletion confirmation message.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid API key
- `403`: Authorization header missing or not a Bearer token
- `404`: Evaluation not found or doesn't belong to user
- `422`: Validation Error
