# GET /places

`GET /places`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://developer.nps.gov/api/v1`
- URL: `https://developer.nps.gov/api/v1/places`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in query parameter `api_key`
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Returns places within National Park Service sites, with optional filters for park codes, state codes, or a search term.
