# Delete a route

`DELETE /v1/domains/{domain}/routes/{address}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.novu.co`
- URL: `https://api.novu.co/v1/domains/{domain}/routes/{address}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Removes the route bound to `<address>@<domain>`. Inbound mail for that address will no longer be processed.

- `405`: Method Not Allowed

- `415`: Unsupported Media Type
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
- `429`: The client has sent too many requests in a given amount of time.
- `500`: Internal Server Error
- `503`: The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overload or scheduled maintenance, which will likely be alleviated after some delay.
