Detects the current market regime: **BULL**, **BEAR**, **SIDEWAYS**, or **CRISIS**. **NO API KEY REQUIRED** — call this anytime.

USE THIS ENDPOINT to determine the market phase before making trading decisions. Based on S&P 500 position relative to its 200-day moving average and VIX volatility level.

Interpretation:
- **BULL**: SPX above 200d MA, VIX calm — favor long positions
- **BEAR**: SPX below 200d MA — favor short/defensive positions
- **SIDEWAYS**: Mixed signals — reduce position sizes
- **CRISIS**: VIX spike + rapid decline — cash/hedging recommended

The response includes SPX value, 200d MA, VIX level, and reasoning.
