# Get Token

`POST /connect/token`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sts.test.nordpoolgroup.com`
- URL: `https://sts.test.nordpoolgroup.com/connect/token`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization` and API key in header `Authorization`

How to get an access token from the STS server

**Member test environment:**  https://sts.test.nordpoolgroup.com/connect/token

## Request body `application/x-www-form-urlencoded`

- object
  - `grant_type` string, required: it's always set to a fixed "password" string (w/o quotes)
  - `scope` string, required: Use the scope string here
  - `username` string, required: Your username...
  - `password` string, required: ... and password

## Response `200`

200

- object
  - `access_token` string
  - `expires_in` integer
  - `token_type` string

## Other responses

- `400`: 400
- `401`: 401
- `404`: 404
