# Submit Rating

`POST /trips/{trip_id}/rating`

Public — the tracking link token is the secret (like /trips/tracking/{id}).

Stores the parent's rating for the trip, resolving the trip entry and the
student's primary guardian from the tracking token.

  - `rating` integer, required: 1-5 star rating.
  - `review` string, nullable: Optional feedback text.
  - `tracking_id` string, required: The parent's tracking link token — resolves the trip entry and guardian.
