# Read sandbox measurements and 24 hour resource history

`GET /v1/sandboxes/{id}/metrics`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/v1/sandboxes/{id}/metrics`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Samples arrive approximately every 30 seconds while authorized runtime authority is active. Raw samples are retained for 7 days. Latest is the newest retained sample and can be stale, so inspect observed_at. History covers the last 24 hours. Resource measurements never create billing authority.

    - `final_charge_usd` number: Immutable aggregate lifetime compute charge for a terminal workload. Present only after every customer usage clock is settled and complete initial compute cost coverage is available across the workload scope. This total is independent of the current billing month. Retaining files can continue to incur separate usage charges, which are excluded from this fixed compute total.
    - `charge_state` 'estimated' | 'final': Compute charge finality for workloads using metered pricing. Estimated means compute usage is still accruing, terminal usage is still settling, or required initial compute cost coverage is incomplete. Final means final_charge_usd is frozen. Retained-file usage can continue after compute is final. Historical workload contracts may omit this field.
    - `compute_settled_usd` number: Settled compute charges in this billing period.
    - `platform_fee_settled_usd` number: Settled platform fees in this billing period.
    - `subscription_settled_usd` number: Settled subscription charges in an account meter. Zero in workload meters.
    - `storage_settled_usd` number: Settled saved-file charges earned in this UTC billing month in an account meter. Already included in settled_usd. Zero in workload and workspace compute-session meters.
    - `model_settled_usd` number: Settled managed model charges in this billing period in an account meter. Already included in settled_usd. Zero in workload and workspace compute-session meters.
    - `shared_settled_usd` number: Settled shared service charges in this billing period in an account meter. Already included in settled_usd. Zero in workload and workspace compute-session meters.
    - `compute_accruing_usd` number: Compute charges accruing at as_of.
    - `platform_fee_accruing_usd` number: Platform fees accruing at as_of.

## Other responses

- `default`: Error. The JSON error and message fields are stable. Additional fields may provide details. Authentication, rate limits, and transient failures apply to all operations.
