# Resolve an independently verified unknown effect

`POST /v1/sandboxes/{id}/agent-runs/{run_id}/resolve`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Compare-and-swap requires the current unknown step revision and an evidence digest. completed requires the verified JSON result. no_effect authorizes one further bounded attempt. cancelled stops the run. Original unknown attempts remain retained.
