# Record a manual recommendation outcome

`POST /v1/pools/{id}/recommendations/{rid}/done`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/v1/pools/{id}/recommendations/{rid}/done`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Requires an admin. Replaying the same outcome returns the original result. A conflicting replay or an expired recommendation returns 409. This records a customer action and does not execute infrastructure changes.

  - `outcome` string, required
  - `reported_saving_micros` integer, nullable

## Response `200`

Record a manual recommendation outcome.

- PoolRecommendationOutcome: Immutable customer-reported manual outcome. reported_saving_micros is optional customer testimony, not measured or verified savings. No action is executed by recording an outcome.

  - `outcome` string, required
  - `reported_saving_micros` integer, nullable, required

## Other responses

- `default`: Authentication, disabled feature, invalid input, missing pool or host, rate limits, and transient failures apply.
