# Disconnect cloud observation

`DELETE /v1/cloud-connections/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/v1/cloud-connections/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Requires an API key owned by a user who is currently a team administrator. Keys without a user owner do not inherit administrator access. The console uses the same service with its authenticated session. Deletes the stored credential and fences collection results. Retains historical snapshots without exposing them through these routes. Does not revoke the cloud role, delete its CloudFormation stack, or terminate customer resources. An already disconnected or missing connection returns 404. Disables future execution routing for its associated pool while retaining active workloads, host credentials and exact cleanup authority.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Disconnected

## Other responses

- `default`: Authentication, administrator access, invalid input, missing records, conflicts, rate limits, credential storage, and transient failures are returned using the stable error and message fields.
