# Submit SignedVoluntaryExit object to node's pool

`POST /eth/v1/beacon/pool/voluntary_exits`

Submits SignedVoluntaryExit object to node's pool and if passes validation node MUST broadcast it to network.

- object: The [`SignedVoluntaryExit`](https://github.com/ethereum/consensus-specs/blob/v1.0.1/specs/phase0/beacon-chain.md#signedvoluntaryexit) object from the CL spec.
  - `message` object: The [`VoluntaryExit`](https://github.com/ethereum/consensus-specs/blob/v1.0.1/specs/phase0/beacon-chain.md#voluntaryexit) object from the CL spec.
    - `epoch` string: Minimum epoch for processing exit.
    - `validator_index` string: Index of the exiting validator.
  - `signature` string

## Response `200`

Voluntary exit is stored in node and broadcasted to network

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid voluntary exit
- `500`: Beacon node internal error.
