# Trigger Button Action

`POST /api/v3/data/{baseId}/{tableId}/actions/{columnId}`

## Request

Triggers a button action (such as AI generation) for specified rows. This is useful for bulk processing button actions programmatically. Maximum of 25 rows can be processed at a time.

  - `rowIds` string[], required: Array of record IDs to process
  - `preview` boolean: Preview mode (optional)

Action triggered successfully

  - `id` union, required: Record identifier (primary key value)
    - string
    - number
  - `id_fields` object: Individual primary key field values as object
  - `fields` object: Record fields data, excluding the primary key. Always present; an empty object when the record has no other fields.
  - `field_errors` string[]: Fields whose value could not be computed because the field is broken (e.g. a lookup through a deleted link). Their value in `fields` is null.

## Other responses

- `400`: BadRequest
- `401`: No credential was supplied, it was not valid, or this operation does not accept the kind of credential that was sent.
