# Exempt an address from the signup limits

`POST /stats/signup-allowlist`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.nippy.host`
- URL: `https://api.nippy.host/stats/signup-allowlist`
- Auth: `bearer` (a scheme the document does not define)

Admin-only. The exact address (case-insensitive) may then create an account even when a signup limit would refuse it. Records `signup_allowlist.added`.

## Request body

- AddSignupAllowedEmailDto
  - `email` string, email, required: The exact address to exempt from the signup limits. Stored lowercase.
  - `note` string: Why the address is exempt.

## Response `201`

- APISignupAllowedEmail
  - `id` string, required
  - `email` string, required: The exempt address, lowercase.
  - `note` string, nullable, required
  - `createdByName` string, nullable, required: Display name of the admin who added it; null if unknown.
  - `createdAt` string, required: When it was added (ISO 8601).
  - `hasAccount` boolean, required: Whether an account already uses this address.

## Other responses

- `400`: Not a valid email address
- `403`: Admin access required
- `409`: The address is already exempt
