# Delete the signed-in account and everything on it

`DELETE /duplicate-accounts/review/account`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.nippy.host`
- URL: `https://api.nippy.host/duplicate-accounts/review/account`
- Auth: `bearer` (a scheme the document does not define)

Only while the account is in an open case. Deletes its sites, files, domains and previews, then the account and the user; the session stops working at once. When one account is left in the case, that account’s hold lifts.

## Response `204`

Account deleted

## Other responses

- `404`: The user is in no open case
- `409`: The account belongs to an organization
