# Confirm the combine from the account that closes

`POST /duplicate-accounts/confirmation`

## Request

- URL: `https://api.nippy.host/duplicate-accounts/confirmation`

Public; the token is the credential and works once. Moves the account’s sites into the account that stays, then deletes the account. When it was the last to confirm, the hold lifts.

## Request body

- DuplicateConfirmTokenDto
  - `token` string, required: The token from the confirmation link.

## Response `200`

- APIDuplicateConfirmResult
  - `mainEmail` string, required: The account that stays, masked.
  - `sitesMoved` number, required
  - `resolved` boolean, required: True when this was the last account to confirm: the case is resolved and the hold is lifted. False while other accounts still have to confirm.

## Other responses

- `404`: The link is no longer valid
- `409`: The account belongs to an organization
