# Rename the active account

`PATCH /accounts`

## Request

  - `name` string, required: New display name for the account

  - `role` 'owner' | 'admin' | 'member', required: The caller's role in this account
  - `kind` 'personal' | 'organization', required: Whether this is the personal account or an organization
  - `canManageMembers` boolean, required: Whether the account's plan allows managing members (Team plan)
  - `entitled` boolean, required: Whether the account is active (paid/entitled) vs awaiting payment or lapsed

## Other responses

- `403`: Requires the admin or owner role
