# Resolve Names

`POST /api/v1/records/resolve-names`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ninjavan.co` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.ninjavan.co/api/v1/records/resolve-names`
- Auth: none declared

Batch-resolve record IDs to display names.

Accepts up to 50 items. Groups by object type and fetches each group
in a single SQL query (WHERE id = ANY($1)), so a form with 10 lookup
fields across 3 object types costs only 3 DB queries instead of 10.

Each item may set `display_field` to override the default name waterfall —
useful when the lookup label should show e.g. `account_number` instead of
`name`. Response keys are `<ObjectType>:<id>:<display_field or "">`.
