# Trigger Job Run Public V2

`POST /v2/jobs/{job_id}/runs`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `token`

## Path parameters

- `job_id` string, required

## Request body

- TriggerJobRunRequestPublicV2: Optional body for a manual run: inputs applied to this run only.
  - `inputs` JobInputsPublicV2: Configuration for the input data a job processes.
    - `data` object[], nullable: Inline list of input records. Used when type is 'inline'.
    - `file_path` string, nullable: Path to the input file; must start with 's3' or 'file_'. Used for 's3'/'file' types.
    - `node_data` object, nullable: Inline input records keyed by source node id, e.g. {'source_a': [{...}]}. Used when type is 'inline' on a dynamic-workflow job, which has one source node per input file. Mutually exclusive with 'data'.
    - `type` 's3' | 'inline' | 'file', required: How inputs are supplied: an 's3' bucket, 'inline' records, or an uploaded 'file'.

## Response `201`

Successful Response

- JobRunPublicV2: A single execution of a job.
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required: When the run was created.
  - `finished_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the run finished.
  - `id` string, required: Unique run identifier (run_<n>).
  - `input_count` integer, nullable: Number of input records processed.
  - `job_id` string, required: Identifier of the job this run belongs to.
  - `result_count` integer, nullable: Number of result records produced.
  - `started_at` string, date-time, nullable: When the run started executing.
  - `status` 'PENDING' | 'RUNNING' | 'SUCCESS' | 'FAILED' | 'CANCELLED' | 'TIMEOUT' | 'WARNING', required: Current run status.
  - `triggered_by` 'schedule' | 'manual', required: What triggered the run: 'schedule' or 'manual'.
