Resolve (and, for an orphan, adopt) the thread this run belongs to. The
single redirect target for every legacy entry point (/run, dashboard rows,
watched-scan links): they POST here, then route to /chat/{thread_id}. POST
because the first call mutates (adopts the orphan).
