# Withdraw a screening provider (owner-only) · 0 credits

`DELETE /api/v1/screening-providers/{id}`

## Request

Screening is NOT switched off by this: it returns to LOCAL matching. That is the return to the default, not a gap. The response states it in `effective_provider`.

## Response `200`

Withdrawn. `effective_provider` says what you fall back TO, and it is looked up rather than assumed: `local` when local lists are populated, `none` when they are not and screening therefore returns nothing.
