# Revoke (soft-delete) a sub-key

`DELETE /api/v1/organizations/{id}/keys/{keyId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://legal.nexusquantum.legal`
- URL: `https://legal.nexusquantum.legal/api/v1/organizations/{id}/keys/{keyId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Marks the sub-key as `active: false`. Preserves the audit trail and usage stats. The master cannot be revoked from here (409); use `DELETE /api/v1/organizations/{id}` to destroy the whole org.

## Response `200`

Sub-key revoked.

- `403`: You are not master of this org.
- `409`: You tried to revoke the master from this route.
