# List files in the connected Box · 0 credits

`GET /api/v1/dms/box/files`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://legal.nexusquantum.legal`
- URL: `https://legal.nexusquantum.legal/api/v1/dms/box/files`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Lists the items in the given folder of the key owner's connected Box. Operates on the STORED token (`getValidBoxToken(userId)`) — the token NEVER appears in the response. Thin loopback to `/api/dms/box/files` (adopted to `requireUser`). No charge. Scope: mcp | *. API-only (no MCP tool).

- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

{ items: [...] } (file/folder metadata, no token)

- `401`: Invalid or missing API key.
- `403`: INSUFFICIENT_SCOPE — the key lacks scope mcp | *.
- `404`: NO_BOX_CONNECTION — the key owner has no Box connected.
