# Regenerate case timeline (E2)

`POST /api/v1/cases/{caseId}/timeline`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Regenerates the timeline from the documents with Bates numbering. Loopback: the internal route is the only one that debits (2 cr). Jurisdiction inherited. Empty body `{}`.

## Other responses

- `400`: VALIDATION_ERROR — no documents with Bates numbering.
- `402`: INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS | SPEND_CAP_REACHED
- `403`: Case does not belong to the API key owner.
- `404`: CASE_NOT_FOUND — case not found.
- `429`: RATE_LIMITED
