# Add party to the case (E2)

`POST /api/v1/cases/{caseId}/parties`

Registers a party in the case. 0 credits. Jurisdiction inherited from the case.

  - `entity_type` 'persona' | 'empresa' | 'entidad_publica' | 'otro': Spanish-language IDENTIFIERS, sent verbatim: `persona` (natural person), `empresa` (company), `entidad_publica` (public body), `otro` (other).
  - `notes` string
