# Updates a NAM advertiser based on the inputs passed in

`PUT /api/v3/advertisers/{advertiserId}`

## Request

  - `address` object, nullable: The updated address to use for this advertiser.
    - `city` string: Name of the city of the address. (e.g. "San Francisco")
    - `coordinates` object, nullable: Geographical coordinates corresponding to this address.
      - `latitude` number, double
      - `longitude` number, double
    - `postal_code` string: Postal code (ex. "94102")/
    - `state` string: Two-letter abbreviation for the state of the address. (e.g. "CA").
    - `street_address` string: The street address. (e.g. 420 Taylor St.)
    - `street_address_2` string, nullable: Additional address info not included in the street address, such as apartment or suite number.
  - `bill_to_payment_profile_id` string, nullable: The updated bill to profile to use for this advertiser.
  - `business_category` object, nullable: The updated business category to use for this advertiser.
    - `category_id` string: The business category id to be used for this advertiser.
    - `subcategory_ids` string[]: The business subcategory ids to be used for this advertiser.
  - `default_business_name` string, nullable: The default business name to use for this advertiser.
  - `name` string, nullable: The updated name to use for this advertiser.
  - `user_set_billing_limit` string, nullable: The updated user set billing limit to use for this advertiser in standardized Money format
  - `web_scraping_opt_in` boolean, nullable: Web scraping opt-in status
  - `website_url` string, nullable: The updated website url to use for this advertiser.

    - `last_web_scraping_opt_out_timestamp` integer, nullable: User web scraping image feature last opt out time (epoch millis)
    - `web_scraping_opt_in` boolean, nullable: User web scraping image feature opt in status
  - `website_url` string, nullable: The website url set for this advertiser

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request. Indicates that the server cannot process the request due to client-side error. For example invalid input.
- `401`: Unauthorized. The API key is invalid and needs to be re-generated.
- `403`: Forbidden. The token passed in has been successfully authenticated, but can’t perform the given action due to not having sufficient permissions.
- `500`: Internal server error.
- `503`: The server is temporarily unable to handle the request due to maintenance or overload.
