# View insurance coverages

`GET /insurance_coverages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://nexhealth.info`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

This endpoint returns a list of insurance coverages. All filters are optional: without any filters, every active insurance coverage for the institution is returned. Only active coverages are included by default; pass active=false to list inactive coverages instead.

    - `patient_id` integer, nullable: The ID of the covered patient
    - `priority` integer, nullable: The relative priority of this insurance coverage where the lowest value is the patient's primary insurance and higher values represent secondary and tertiary policies
    - `plan_id` integer, nullable: The ID of the insurance plan this coverage subscribes to
    - `subscriber_num` string, nullable: The subscriber's identification number for the plan
    - `effective_date` string, date, nullable: The date the coverage takes effect
    - `expiration_date` string, date, nullable: The date the coverage expires
    - `insurance_type` 'dental' | 'medical' | 'vision', nullable: The type of the insurance plan
    - `updated_at` string, date-time: Insurance Coverage update date in UTC. This is the most recent of the coverage and its subscription update dates, since the entity also exposes subscription fields
    - `active` boolean, nullable: Whether the insurance coverage is currently active
  - `page_info` object: Pagination information that can be used for fetching previous and next pages.

- `500`: Internal Server Error
