# Delete a task

`DELETE /v1/tasks/{task_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.nex.ai/api/developers`
- URL: `https://app.nex.ai/api/developers/v1/tasks/{task_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Archives (soft-deletes) a task. The task will have an archived_at timestamp set.

## Path parameters

- `task_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Task archived

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Task not found
- `500`: Internal server error
