# Search records

`POST /v1/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.nex.ai/api/developers`
- URL: `https://app.nex.ai/api/developers/v1/search`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Search across all records in the workspace. Results are grouped by object type (e.g., person, company). Partial results are returned if some search types fail.

## Request body

- DeveloperSearchRequest
  - `query` string, required: Search query (1-500 characters)

## Response `200`

Search results grouped by type

- DeveloperSearchResponse
  - `results` object: Results grouped by object type (e.g., 'person', 'company')
  - `errored_search_types` string[]: Search types that encountered errors (partial results returned)

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - Invalid query
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `500`: Internal server error
