# Update a note

`PATCH /v1/notes/{note_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.nex.ai/api/developers`
- URL: `https://app.nex.ai/api/developers/v1/notes/{note_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Updates properties of an existing note. All fields are optional.

## Path parameters

- `note_id` string, required

## Request body

  - `title` string: New title
  - `content` string: New content
  - `entity_id` string: Change associated record

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - Invalid data
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Note not found
- `500`: Internal server error
