# Create an AI List

`POST /v1/context/list/jobs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.nex.ai/api/developers`
- URL: `https://app.nex.ai/api/developers/v1/context/list/jobs`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Create an AI-powered list generation job. The AI will search your workspace and generate a list of records matching your natural language query. Use the returned job_id to poll for results.

## Request body

- DeveloperCreateAIListJobRequest
  - `query` string, required: Natural language query to search items (e.g., 'all companies', 'high priority contacts')
  - `object_type` string: Type of object to search - 'contact' or 'company' (default: 'contact')
  - `limit` integer: Number of results (default: 50, max: 100)
  - `include_attributes` boolean: If true, includes all entity attribute values in response (default: false)

## Response `200`

Job created successfully

- DeveloperCreateAIListJobResponse
  - `message` object: Response wrapper
    - `job_id` string: Unique identifier for the list generation job
    - `status` 'pending': Initial job status (always 'pending')

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - Invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `500`: Internal server error
