# Add Sender Domain

`POST /api/v1/companies/{company_id}/email-domains`

## Request

Register a sending domain with Resend. Owners + admins (operation enforces role).

Returns the DNS records for the customer's IT team to add.

- `company_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- CompanySenderDomainCreate: Request body for ``POST /{company_id}/email-domains``. Deliberately just the domain. The sending region is server-chosen (``RESEND_DOMAIN_REGION``) so a tenant admin cannot place a sending domain outside the region we picked for data-residency reasons; the region a domain ended up in is reported back on ``CompanySenderDomainRead``.
  - `domain` string, required: Domain to send from. A subdomain (notifications.example.com) is recommended over the apex.
