# Track Customer Conversions (CAPI)

`POST /v3/metainfo/dispatch_capi_event`

The Conversions API (CAPI) allows businesses to send data about key customer interactions and conversions from WhatsApp conversations to Meta for improved ad targeting and performance measurement.

  - `data` ConversionEvent[], required: Array of conversion events to track
    - `event_name` 'Purchase' | 'Lead' | 'CompleteRegistration' | 'Subscribe' | 'StartTrial' | 'AddToCart' | 'InitiateCheckout' | 'AddPaymentInfo' | 'ViewContent' | 'Contact' | 'CustomizeProduct' | 'Donate' | 'FindLocation' | 'Schedule' | 'Search' | 'SubmitApplication', required: Standard or custom event name
    - `event_time` integer, required: Event timestamp in Unix epoch time
    - `action_source` 'business_messaging', required: Source of the action
    - `messaging_channel` 'whatsapp', required: Messaging platform
    - `user_data` ConversionUserData, required: User identification data (at least one field required)
      - `mobile_number` string: Customer's mobile number with country code
      - `ctwa_clid` string: Click-to-WhatsApp Click ID for attribution
    - `custom_data` ConversionCustomData: Additional event-specific data
      - `currency` string: Currency code for monetary events (ISO 4217)
      - `value` number: Monetary value of the event
      - `content_ids` string[]: Product or content identifiers
      - `content_type` 'product' | 'product_group' | 'service' | 'article': Type of content
      - `order_id` string: Unique order identifier
      - `content_name` string: Name of the content/product
      - `content_category` string: Category of the content/product
      - `num_items` integer: Number of items in the event
      - `search_string` string: Search query (for search events)

**Conversion Event Tracked Successfully**

The conversion event has been processed and sent to Meta's systems.

## Other responses

- `400`: **Invalid Conversion Data** The conversion event data is invalid or missing required fields.
