# Get Messages

`GET /messages`

## Request

Retrieve message details for WhatsApp messages within a date range.

## Query parameters

- `start_date` string, date, required
- `end_date` string, date, required

Messages data retrieved successfully

    - `recipient_number` string: Recipient phone number
    - `message_type` string: Type of message sent
    - `xapi_header` string: Custom API header data
    - `status` 'sent' | 'delivered' | 'read' | 'failed' | 'pending': Status of the message
    - `requested_time` string: Time when the message was requested
    - `modified_time` string: Time when the message was last modified
    - `sent_time` string: Time when the message was sent
    - `delivered_time` string: Time when the message was delivered
    - `read_time` string: Time when the message was read
    - `clicked_time` string: Time when the message was clicked
    - `template_name` string: Name of the template used
    - `tags` string[]: Tags associated with the message

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request - Invalid date format or parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing bearer token
