# Delete the account's hosted machine

`DELETE /api/managed/allocation`

Delete the account's hosted machine and unlink its node. No undo.

``202`` while the provider delete is owed (``deleting``), ``200`` once
nothing is left (``deleted``). Idempotent: a repeat changes nothing and
writes no audit row. Deliberately no payment and no standing check:
a lapsed or suspended owner must still be able to stop the cost.

Deleted: nothing left to delete at the provider
