# Download file as base64

`GET /v1/projects/{project_id}/files/{file_id}/download/base64`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer

Returns the file content encoded as base64

## Path parameters

- `file_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `token` string

## Response `200`

File content as base64

- object
  - `content` string: Base64-encoded file content
  - `filename` string: Original filename
  - `content_type` string: MIME type of the file
  - `size` integer, nullable: File size in bytes

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid credentials.
- `403`: The credential is scoped to a different project, or the caller's role in the project does not carry this action.
- `404`: File not found
