# Remove a Volume from Stack (legacy sync)

`DELETE /uaas/stacks/{stack_id}/volumes/{volume_id}`

Remove a volume from the NDS stack configuration synchronously.

Preserved as a backward-compatible v1 contract for existing clients that
still deserialize ``UaasVolumeNdsDto`` and expect a 200 response. New
clients should use ``POST /stacks/{stack_id}/volumes/{volume_id}:unregister``,
which dispatches the ``uaas_volume_unregister`` command to the edge and
returns a ``TaskSummaryDto`` for asynchronous tracking.
