# Delete Cloud Credential

`DELETE /cloud-credentials/{credential_id}`

## Path parameters

- `credential_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- CloudCredentialDeleteRequest: Delete request body — explicit target appliance IDs.
  - `appliance_ids` string[], required: Target appliance IDs for delete fan-out

## Response `202`

Delete accepted. `task_ids` lists tasks dispatched to reachable filers; `failed_unreachable` lists per-filer rows pre-created in `failed` state because the filer was offline at request time.

- CloudCredentialDeleteResponseDto: Response for a credential delete request — split by per-appliance outcome.
  - `task_ids` string[], required: Tasks dispatched to reachable appliances — one id per appliance
  - `failed_unreachable` FailedUnreachableEdgeDto[]: Per-appliance task rows created directly in `failed` state because the appliance was unreachable at request time. The user must retry the delete for those appliances once they come back online.
    - `edge_id` string, uuid, required
    - `task_id` string, uuid, required
    - `last_seen_at` string, date-time, nullable

## Other responses

- `401`: Not authenticated
- `403`: Insufficient permissions
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Resource state conflict
- `422`: Invalid input data
- `500`: Internal server error
- `503`: All targeted appliances are unreachable; no tasks were created.
