# Open a public file

`GET /v1/public/files/{token}`

## Request

Redirect (302) to a short-lived link for a file shared on a public page, such as a proof-of-delivery photo on the tracking page. No API key is needed. The photo link does not expire and can outlive the tracking page; the link it redirects to expires after a few minutes.

## Path parameters

- `token` string, required: The file link token, as it appears in `secure_url`.
