# Open a file

`GET /v1/files/{token}`

## Request

Redirect (302) to a short-lived link for a file your organization owns, such as a proof-of-delivery photo. The link in `secure_url` does not expire; the link it redirects to does, after a few minutes, so open `secure_url` again rather than storing the redirect target. Do not forward your API key to the redirect target.

## Path parameters

- `token` string, required: The file link token, as it appears in `secure_url`.
