# Drop video originals, keep the editing copies

`POST /v1/videos/originals/drop`

## Request

Every uploaded clip gets a light 1080p editing copy; the uploaded original is kept beside it (`original_video_path` on the clip) until dropped. Dropping frees the original's space. The clip stays playable and editable, but it is 1080p from then on, and this cannot be undone. Clips with no separate original are skipped.

## Request body

- object
  - `ids` string[]: Clip (generation) ids, up to 500.
  - `all` boolean: true = every kept original.

## Response `200`

`dropped` (clips), `freed_bytes`

## Other responses

- `400`: Neither ids nor all
- `401`: Missing or invalid token
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
