# Get the authenticated user

`GET /v1/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://nanostudiopro.com/api`
- URL: `https://nanostudiopro.com/api/v1/me`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the user the token belongs to, plus their remaining credits. The fastest way to verify a new token works — call this first when integrating.

Current user

- Me
  - `id` string
  - `name` string, nullable
  - `email` string, email
  - `role` string
  - `credits` integer: Generation credits remaining.
  - `plan` string
  - `storage_used_bytes` integer
  - `storage_limit_bytes` integer
  - `quotas` object: Plan limits the user is bound by. Use these to gate UI affordances ('upgrade to unlock 200GB') or compute remaining headroom.
    - `storage_bytes` integer
    - `monthly_credits` integer: Credit allotment refilled each billing period.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid token
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
