# Poll an async tool job

`GET /api/tools/{slug}/status/{jobId}`

Returns the current state of a job ticket issued by POST /api/tools/{slug} (202). Keep polling until status is a terminal value.

Job state. Deprecation/Sunset/Link headers appear only once the operation is deprecated (see x-deprecation-policy).
