# Provision Prepared Workspace

`POST /api/v1/console/evals/prepared-workspaces`

Provision one corpus workspace: fetch, upload, ingest, record.

Accepted, not finished — ingesting a corpus takes minutes to hours. Poll the
prepared-workspace list; the name appears when it is usable.

## Request body

- ProvisionEvalWorkspaceRequest: Create → upload → ingest → record one prepared workspace. ``source`` is what the CLI's ``provision_ndi_workspace.py`` takes — an ``hf://org/repo[/slug]`` corpus URI or a directory inside the worker's dataset root — plus one the CLI has no need for: the name of a registered corpus builder, which rebuilds the corpus from upstream first. That form exists for the corpora we cannot republish ourselves.

  - `workflow_id` string, required: Provisioning runs on the eval queue; poll the prepared-workspace list.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Missing or invalid bearer token.
- `402`: Payment Required
- `403`: An API key was sent, the account is not Nace staff, or it is disabled.
- `404`: No console account for this identity — sign in first.
- `409`: Conflict
- `413`: Request Entity Too Large
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
- `500`: Internal Server Error
- `503`: The eval harness or its worker queue is not available on this deployment.
