# Delete Own Account

Self-service account erasure (GDPR / SOC 2 P1.1).

Anonymises the caller's local user record and best-effort removes them
from the upstream WorkOS organisation. The session cookie is cleared so
the caller is logged out immediately. Idempotent: a second call on an
already-anonymised user returns 204.
