# Update User Memory Sections

`PUT /api/memory/user/sections`

Edit individual user-owned memory sections (Preferences / Roles).

The server rebuilds the document from its fixed sections, so user input can
never break the `## ` structure. Agent-maintained sections (Recent
subjects) are preserved untouched; the agent may still revise any section.
