# Agent account status

`GET /v1/agent/account`

The account behind the API key, in the same shape as the registration body minus the api_key. Poll email_verified to learn when the human has confirmed the email and card top-ups are unlocked.

## Response `200`

The account.

- AgentAccount: An agent-created account, as returned by GET /v1/agent/account.
  - `account_id` string, required: Account identifier, "a" followed by 12 hex characters.
  - `email` string, email, required
  - `email_verified` boolean, required: True once the human has pressed Confirm on the emailed link. Unlocks card top-ups.
  - `balance` number, required: Credits on the balance. Zero at registration.
  - `plan_id` integer, required: The Starter pay-as-you-go pricing table (per-country credits).
  - `status` string, required: Account status, "active" when the key can be used.
  - `topup` object: Where to buy credits.
    - `quote` string, uri
    - `endpoint` string, uri
    - `note` string
  - `docs` string, uri

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid X-API-Key.
- `429`: Too many requests from this IP address. The edge allows 100 requests a minute per client IP with a burst of 100, counted across every endpoint together, so sends and status checks share one budget. Accounts that ask for more are raised to 500 a minute; X-RateLimit-Limit on every response tells you which ceiling applies to you. Wait the number of seconds in Retry-After and repeat the request. Write to support@myotp.app with the addresses you call from and the peak you are designing for if you need a higher limit.
