# Add a memory to a space

`POST /spaces/addContent`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mymemory.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.mymemory.dev/v1/spaces/addContent`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

File an existing memory in a space. To save straight into a space, pass `spaces` to `POST /add` instead.

## Request body

- object
  - `spaceId` string, required: The space's `uuid`.
  - `documentId` string, required: The memory's `uuid`.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Not allowed: someone else's memory or space, or a plan limit reached (`Memory limit reached`, `Space limit reached`)
- `404`: Not found, or it isn't yours
- `429`: Too many requests. For a rate limit (`error`: `rate_limited`), wait the seconds in the `Retry-After` header; for an AI budget error, until the budget renews.
